Alber Elbaz Leaving Lanvin for Dior?; Karl Lagerfeld to Design Lily Allen’s Wedding Dress

For the past few days, most of the speculation has been swirling around Lanvin designer Alber Elbaz. The Moroccan-born Israeli designer is celebrated by critics and beloved by the fashion world not just for his exquisite clothing, but also for his charm. Most of the Elbaz-Dior gossip has been unfounded, but then tweeted yesterday: “people in Paris are asking, why has the Lanvin team been in tears all day?” [Fashionologie]
