The last time Vogue Brazil took our fancy was when the magazine celebrated its 45th anniversary with a pair of Gisele Bündchen covers. The Brazilian fashion bible definitely has our undivided attention this month thanks to Hailey Bieber making her Vogue Brazil debut for April 2021. Not even four full months in and 2021 has been quite a year for the American beauty. She’s already added covers of CR Fashion Book, POP and ELLE, not to mention campaigns for Versace, to her ever-growing portfolio. Photographed by Zoey Grossman and styled by Pedro Sales, Hailey wears a look from Celine’s Spring 2021 collection in the cover shot.
Hailey’s latest failed to make a good impression on our forum members. “This is not a Vogue cover. This is a Polaroid casting comp card,” critiqued an underwhelmed THD96.
“Another one? And for what? I’ve had it,” wrote heyjaded.
“Of course there has to be a mention of her husband because that’s the only thing that’s going on for her,” Style Savvy chimed in.

Summer Day shared the same level of enthusiasm: “Another day, another cover for Hailey.”
“She looks like someone who was stopped by a grocery store employee to put on her face covering and refused to because she thinks she’s above everyone else,” declared GERGIN.
“Is she even a thing in Brazil? What an odd choice. She’s not a top model nor is she a talented celebrity. How well could this possibly sell?” asked GivenchyHomme.
“She doesn’t know how to model. She doesn’t have the range. Simple as that,” added zoom.
WAVES described the cover as “terrible.” But do you agree?
