Taylor Swift Is Unrecognizable on Vogue Australia (Forum Buzz)

She already covers the November edition of US GQ looking as sultry as ever and now Taylor Swift makes the cover of Vogue Australia. After serving up Noami Watts last month, the magazine taps the American singer just in time, coinciding with her trip down under next month as part of Swift’s 1989 world tour. Photographed by Emma Summerton and with styling from Christine Centenera, Aussie Vogue gives Taylor an entirely new look, captured wearing a Schiaparelli creation and giving us Daria Werbowy vibes — the girl can model.

But were our forum members impressed with Vogue Australia’s best efforts? “She looks haggard here. Really bad,” slammed HeatherAnne the moment the cover dropped.

“For some reason she doesn’t look like herself. Maybe it’s the hair or Photoshop. But I do like the colors and the romantic feeling it has. Also, she is one of those celebrities who do not understand the meaning of overexposure. She’s everywhere all the time, she should go away for a while,” recommended KateTheGreatest.

Also acknowledging the evident airbrushing was KINGofVERSAILLES: “She reminds me of Daria Werbowy on the cover. The styling is romantic and the colors are gorgeous. Photoshop is maybe a bit overdone, though.”

J.Oliver agreed, echoing, “Taylor is always hit and miss. She looks stunning here, but TOO much Photoshop in the face.”

“Too much Photoshop on the face. Otherwise great,” said gazebo.

Miguelalmeida soon shed light on the cover, expressing, “WOW, the best cover from Taylor ever! This is the first cover of her that I’m really drawn too. Very romantic, charming and peaceful!”
