Where’s the Drama on Léa Seydoux’s UK Vogue Cover? (Forum Buzz)

She’s set to dominate cinema screens worldwide as the latest Bond Girl and to coincide with the release of the highly anticipated Spectre, Léa Seydoux graces the cover of U.K. Vogue‘s November issue. As our forums received a tidbit that the French actress was to front an upcoming issue of the magazine, we were expecting something a lot more dramatic, fierce and edgy as opposed to what Craig McDean and team have delivered. Photographed wearing Dolce & Gabbana on the cover, our forums were left feeling a little deflated.

“She looks uncomfortable. What an awkward shot for the cover,” exclaimed jeffandtheworld the moment the cover surfaced, setting the tone for comments to come.

“Léa looks really stiff and awkward,” echoed jescajade.

Sharing the disappointment was Aizanara: “They could have something a little bit fiercer and sexier considering the ‘Bond Bombshell’ theme. They clearly wasted her cover potential. This is so basic and boring…”

MON agreed, disapproving, “Wow this looks so uncomfortable. The pose and everything, it feels so weird. It also feels pretentious. Yikes.”

“Not sure about the background but Léa looks amazing in that dress!” admitted Oxymore as things started to shape up.

Benn98 noted, “This looks really pretty, almost like a good Bazaar cover. Love the hair, porcelain beauty, and the colours. For me this is yet another stunning shot from British Vogue, they’re sticking with what works for them and that’s OK in my book.”
