The highly praised, if not slightly over-hyped Colette, located in Paris on the rue Saint-Honoré, is a miniature department store with a carefully curated selection of who-is-going-to-be-who next in fashion. The boutique that has the same influence in Paris as Opening Ceremony has in New York City, also stocks books, cosmetics, music, gadgets, and there is a café with a wide selection of fine bottled waters from around the world.
Touted-as a must stop-destination when those in the fashion know travel to Paris, Colette will open for a month in the fall beginning on September 6th and stay open through October 5th. The pop-up store will be located in New York City next to the GAP on 54th street and 5th avenue. The event is sure to attract many shoppers looking for a taste of the Parisian boutique. Colette which stocks the likes of Hussein Chalayan, Jeremy Scott, Jil Sander, and Junya Watanabe, is promising exclusive collaborative items in honor of the pop-up mini-Colette.
