Karl Lagerfeld's masstige line, KARL, for Net-A-Porter launched today, to much fanfare. Feel free to retrieve your credit card to shop the collection online—or, if you're feeling restless and have a few hours, to stop in at one of the pop-up shops a'popping in New York, London, Sydney, Berlin, and Paris.

As the designer revealed in a video interview with…himself (yeah!) at his Paris apartment, one of the most appealing aspects of partnering with the shopping platform is that "today everything's about technology, because the world has changed. In terms of communication, in terms of working, creating materials, manufacturing, everything has changed. This is the most important thing today. I never talk about the 'good old days' because I'm not sure they were that good, or that old. I think it's very exciting."
To prove his Internet cred, Karl synchronized the launch of his new e-commerce venture with a Twitter account. The Kaiser might be 78-years-old, but he's a man of his time, if nothing else.
He says it best:
"How do we do to stay fresh and relevant. Because when I see you, I think we are quite fresh and relevant. What's your opinion?" he asks himself.
"Pfff. A question I never ask myself."
The two Karls deadpan at the camera.
Here's a teaser of the video, the full version is on Net-A-Porter. You'd be a fool to miss it.
