It’s been ages since we’ve seen Reese Witherspoon on the cover of Vogue (five years, to be exact) and now she’s finally back for her sixth Vogue cover appearance on the February 2018 issue. The American actress is known to photograph beautifully and with her last notable newsstand presence being the wonderful WSJ Magazine cover back in November 2017, we were certainly in need of some Reese. Shot by photographer Zoe Ghertner (her first Vogue cover) and styled by Tonne Goodman, Reese looks beautiful at the beach wearing a one-shoulder dress from Givenchy.
The cover became an instant hit with our forum members. “Ugh this is beautiful. Quintessential Reese for me,” praised MON.
“Oh wow this is stunning! Sure it’s very straightforward Vogue US-y, but Zoe brought a freshness to it. The composition and the natural vibe is beautiful. Honestly one of their best covers in a long time!” Marc10 applauded.
“So beautiful! I love the free, natural vibe to all the pictures – and the colors of the cover are absolutely stunning. It’s really great to see US Vogue support young photographers and women photographers!” heralded an equally as impressed LastNight.

“What a gorgeous cover, I’m very into it. Zoe’s photography here works wonderfully well,” echoed dodencebt.
Lola701 shared the same enthusiasm. “Wow! Great cover. It’s classic American Vogue but there’s something different, fresh and quite warm,” she admired.
Also impressed with the outcome was fluxxx: “Ahhhh it’s nice to see US Vogue back to its usual aesthetic. Might be boring but it’s better than the experiments that they had in 2018!”
“When I saw this on Instagram earlier, my mouth opened in awe! An actual US Vogue cover that looked simple yet beautiful. OMG, who would ever have thought?” gasped bluestar.
