Top Models Past and Present Star in Jimmy Choo’s Fall 2016 Ad Campaign (Forum Buzz)

As we continue to take a first look at all the Fall 2016 advertising campaigns, Jimmy Choo has gone all-out in an attempt to catch our attention with a cast of top models from past and present. To commemorate itsĀ 20th anniversary, Jimmy Choo enlisted beauties Amber Valletta, Sasha Pivovarova, Milla Jovovich, Lexi Boling, Taylor Hill, Jasmine Tookes and Xiao Wen Ju for the occasion. Each woman poses in Craig McDean’s studio amongst minimal surroundings, proving less is always more.

Forum members couldn’t wait to debate which model stood out most. “Jasmine and Taylor seem so out of place, especially Taylor! Jasmine looks high and seems so commercial to me? They both look so lost among legends like Sasha, Milla and Amber. Lexi is super awkward too. Xiao slays as usual,” shared SpeakThatJDunn straight away.

Anlabe32 was quick to chime in: “Great cast except for Jasmine and Taylor, obviously. Amber looks spectacular. Classier than usual for Jimmy Choo.”

“It’s Xiao Wen Ju, Amber and Lexi for me because they all look chic and effortless! Jasmine and Taylor are trying too hard to impress. This is a very basic concept, but the styling and McDean’s photography elevate it somewhat. What on earth did they do to Milla Jovovich’s face? Crikey!!” screamed Benn98.

Also quick to notice the Photoshop blunder was MyNameIs: “Milla is Photoshopped beyond recognition. Shame. Otherwise, it’s not bad.”

“It’s a nice concept but the execution looks budget. The Photoshopping is comical as well,” laughed lelaid.

Burbuja8910 wasn’t exactly feeling it either, discrediting, “The campaign has a good concept, but I don’t like it. Bland photos of each girl and is too similar to that of Avon or another cosmetics brand!”

“Everything is perfect except for the shoes. They are ugly/boring for an anniversary collection. DONE!” added Lola701.
